Change Log

v1.0.8.0

October 15, 2026Download

New features

  • Break prompt messages: the banner shows a random, light-hearted title and message instead of fixed text. Messages change with the stage (coming soon, take it now, overdue) and with the break type (short or long). A new message is picked only when the stage changes, not on every tick.

Improvements

  • Active task card redesigned: category pill on top, action buttons (Notes, Break, Stop, Complete) in a header bar, task and timer in the body below.
  • Active task shows the estimate only ("25m est") instead of actual/estimate.
  • Lock Point header shows a live dot while a focus session runs. The dot stops pulsing when paused and stays neutral during breaks.
  • Completion card redesigned: struck-through task title sits above "Well done", the GIF has more room, and View Board / Next Task / Take a Break are spaced evenly.
  • Break prompt banner restyled: the GIF sits in a frame, the "Go on Break" button is larger, and the button color shows how urgent the break is (green, then amber, then red).
  • Break timer overlay updated with more detailed information.
  • Break buttons updated.
  • Reports → Tasks: category legend and Est vs Actual chart are sorted by time, largest first.
  • Task data refreshes when you return to the browser tab.

Bug fixes

  • Day streak:
    • Uses your local date instead of UTC, so it no longer breaks or double-counts around midnight.
    • Checked once a day on the first focus session, using fresh user data, so a tab left open overnight no longer computes a wrong streak.
    • Only the streak fields are written, so other settings are never overwritten with old values.
  • Task save conflicts (etag/409): saving the task form while the timer is writing the same task no longer fails. The edit form waits for pending timer writes before loading, and conflicting saves retry automatically.
  • Task form category: opening "add new category" blocks saving until the new category is saved or cancelled. Cancelling restores the previous category, and a clear message explains why saving is blocked.
  • Picture-in-picture (PiP) window during breaks:
    • When a break starts, the PiP now opens reliably instead of sometimes being blocked by the browser.
    • Reloading the page mid-break no longer causes a PiP error. A reopen button is shown instead.
    • Choosing "View Board" after a break ends now closes the leftover "Break Over!" PiP.
  • Improved error handling: errors are now shown to the user instead of failing silently.
  • General bug fixes.

v1.0.7.0

September 27, 2026Download

Improvements

  • Board columns refreshed: Backlog, This Week, Today and Completed now have header icons. Empty columns show a short message on what to do next.
  • Category legend moved into the Today progress bar header, on the right. The board gets back the vertical space the legend used.
  • An info icon now appears on the "Drop items here" placeholder.

Bug fixes

  • Picture-in-picture (PiP) window after completing a task: the PiP now stays open after "Complete". The task details hide, but the session countdown keeps running until you choose Next Task, Take Break or exit. Next Task brings the task view back in the same window.
  • Session timer stays steady: completing or switching tasks no longer resets or shifts focus session time. Overtime carries over across task switches.
  • Leaving Lock Point from the completion card now ends the focus block and closes the PiP, so no timer is left running.
  • Taking a break from the completion card now ends the focus block.
  • Progress bar timeline: back-to-back focus sessions from task switches now show as one merged block, and its tooltip gives the session count. This matches the stats above it.
  • General bug fixes.

v1.0.6.0

September 24, 2026Download

New features

  • Time discrepancy check on the task list. A new "Check time discrepancies" button compares each task's recorded time with its sessions. A "Time issues (N)" filter pill then lists the tasks that don't match.
  • Session mismatch flags. Sessions whose logged time doesn't match their start and end times are highlighted with an accent bar and tint. They can be synced one at a time or in bulk.
  • Improved Sessions view. It shows start/end time next to logged time with the difference, a preview before you sync, and a filter that shows only mismatched sessions.
  • Task form sessions pane. It flags mismatched sessions, can sync them to their start/end times, and pages the list at 10 per page.
  • Completed tasks sorted by completion date, newest first:
    • Dragging a task into Completed records its completion date; dragging it out clears the date.
    • Tasks can't be reordered within Completed.

Improvements

  • Picture-in-picture (PiP) window:
    • It now updates in place when switching between focus and break, with no close/reopen or flicker.
    • It updates during breaks.
  • Faster task switching in Lock Point Task: the UI changes right away instead of waiting on SharePoint.
  • "Cycles" renamed to "Focus sessions" in the UI and reports.
  • Day plan now ends after the last focus session. The default cycles fit an 8-hour day.
  • Task form:
    • The category dropdown hides while the inline Add Category form is open.
    • Spacing fixes in the category form.
    • The dialog now waits for the sessions pane to finish collapsing before it shrinks.

Bug fixes

  • Timer accuracy: session time now comes from clock time instead of counting ticks. Before, timers undercounted when the browser tab was in the background.
  • Task time comes from sessions: a task's actual time is now the sum of its sessions. It's recalculated whenever a session is edited, deleted, synced or auto-closed.
  • Save conflict fixed when saving a task after answering Yes to the time-mismatch prompt.
  • Today's progress bar and overview numbers: back-to-back focus sessions from a task switch now count as one block.
  • Break timer: spacing fix on the open PiP button.
  • General bug fixes.
